The long-overdue debut full length album by Silent Tyrant, the technical power/thrash metal solo project of Caleb Patrick Warren, has finally been released in February of 2024 after 3 years of various attempts and setbacks. With nearly an hour's worth of blazing technical riffs and solos with a fair bit of melody and diversity, this album follows in the niche style of late 80s/early 90s tech thrash bands such as Toxik, Realm, Artillery, Kinetic Dissent, Heathen, Aspid, Coroner, etc, while also drawing influence of teh US Power Metal bands of the same era. Silent Tyrant was started in 2020 by then-18 year old CPW, which released two demos the same year, then disappeared until now. Featuring 5 new songs on top of the 7 others that appeared on the first two demos, most of which were written in 2019/2020 at 17-18 years old, but reworked and perfected for this album, which was initially planned for release in 2021.
